Your Domain Name (from £7.50 per year)

Your chosen domain name is important, ideally it should be the same as your business name but that is not always possible. There are many different extensions available, the oldest and most popular being the .com suffix. This is right for your business if you intend to trade outside of the UK, however if you will only be trading within the UK then a .co.uk suffix may be preffered. You could of course have both flavours if they are available. WebUnique will advise and purchase the domain name on your behalf for you if you wish.

Never Too Soon

If you are thinking about a website in the future it would be wise to purchase your chosen domain name right now, if you leave it sombody else may snap it up. Your domain name can be 'parked' for as long as you like with the registrant it is bought from so there is no reason not to get it right now.

For information, domain names can only use letters, numbers, and hyphens ("-"). spaces and other symbols are not allowed.
